1982 S2 7.9 Hull #13. "Vindaloo,” a fresh water only 7.9, is in pristine condition with two full sets of sails (one set of racing kevlar). This boat was the third lightest in class the year we purchased in 2004 (formerly “Sadie Hawkins”) and has been stored indoors every off-season. Ease any concern of delamination at the retractable keel trunk with models of this year-range. This boat will NEVER have that problem as the entire area was stripped to the glass and reinforced with carbon fiber. Additionally, the mast, boom, spin-pole and hull were Awlgrip painted in 2007 so she turns heads at every marina. The rigging has all been well maintained with class-approved mast, running and standing rigging replaced in 2007 including a spectra split backstay with a batten kicker. There is a Harken roller furling forestay for day sailing as well as a Tuff Luff forestay for racing. Lifelines are new (2016). The rig comes with a self-stepping pole which makes stepping and destepping the mast only a two-person job. Included are two stern pulpit options (a full pulpit or racing stantions on each aft quarter). Also included: a dual-axle trailer with electric brakes, new tires (2016) and custom fiberglass beds for the boat which make cleaning and launching/recovery a breeze. Below deck the cushions have been reupholstered, wiring has been replaced (2008) and a new porta-head installed (2016). Pocket cruising is also comfortable with a Raymarine auto-helm tiller pilot and cockpit cushions. Auxilary power includes a Tohatsu four-stroke 6hp long shaft outboard w/ charger. 1984 S2 7.9 Hull #397 located in Tulsa Oklahoma $13,500. I have owned the boat since 1994. Boat has always been dry sailed from a hoist. This is a fresh water boat that I traveled extensively to many NOOD regattas from 1995 thru 2002, club raced regularly since then. Hull is finished annually with Poly Glow, looks like new. Tandem trailer recently rewired, new bearings all around, electric brakes on both axels, new bunks. Mariner 5 HP outboard, 4 stroke with remote tank. I added an electric winch to keel lift system several years ago. This has proved to be wonderful addition for cruising and a nice treat for the crew after a hard day of racing. The boat is in excellent condition. The deck and hull are rock solid, no soft spots. The mast and boom have been stripped of the original white paint and polished to a high finish. All racing gear is aboard and operable. Extensive older sail inventory that needs upgrading for top class racing. However boat is very competitive with local J22 and J24 fleets. The cushions and interior are in good shape. The rudder has been rebuilt and rudder head reinforced. Listed 10-1-16. Sold 12-4-16.

1982 S2 7.9 (26') Hull #16. Located in Scituate, MA. KVH Sailcomp Digital Compass (mast mounted). Garmin GPS 441. VHF Radio. New Battery. (6) sails - All Good Condition (Dacron Main and 155% Genoa were new 2 years ago $4,000 cost). 4:1 Lifting for daggerboard. Interior cushions. Porta Potty. Yamaha 4hp outboard. Tandem Axle Galvanized Trailer. Hawk has been used in Scituate, MA for 3 months each year and has always been very competitive in a fleet of larger boats. PHRF NE rating is 168 racing 177 cruising. She only draws about 1' with the board up. This boat can be floated onto her trailer by one person and it only takes one person to put the mast up and down. No need to keep this boat at a boat yard - just drive it home to your yard. There are some soft spots mainly on the deck that show that they had been repaired before. It does not seem to compromise the boat structurally. It was this way when I bought the boat 6 years ago and it does not seem to be any worse. This is a great value because others are selling in the mid teens. She is in the water now. Each year we have been able to get second place for seasonal trophies in a 10 boat class. $4,000. Listed 7-21-16. Sold 12-6-16

Hull #228 The boat is in very good condition and in above average shape for its age. A motor is not included. I currently have one available if needed. Boat was splashed for two months fall of 2015 after sitting on trailer for two years. It was immediately competitive with the top boat in our local fleet. Finishing overlapped with first, each time raced. Recent exam of boat has discovered some moisture in the hull core. This is in an area below the water line, in the center 3rd area of the hull. We have tested by removing core samples and professionally filling the holes. Extent of area was confirmed with moister meter. Structural integrity of the boat is not compromised, just a known issue that might someday need addressing. Boat is priced accordingly.
